Separate the address from the access plan
A Marietta mailing address is a starting point, not a loading plan. Write down where the vehicle could stop, the entrance you expect to use and the distance to that entrance. If the address is part of a managed property, ask its management team about access arrangements. Do not assume a street or shared driveway can be used for loading without checking.
Plan around the key handover
If your move depends on a closing or a key collection, explain that dependency when discussing a date. Keep a separate list of items you need before the rest of the household arrives. If there could be a gap between leaving and entering the properties, raise storage requirements early rather than treating them as a last-minute addition.
Build an inventory that includes the edges
Go beyond bedrooms and living areas. Check utility spaces, outdoor furniture, tools and anything kept away from the main rooms. Photograph large items and measure tight doorways if you are unsure about clearance. The aim is to give the team a useful description of the work, not to turn a room count into an assumed price.
Your enquiry checklist
- Confirm the full pickup and delivery addresses, including units and access contacts.
- Record any dependency on closing, key collection or access to a managed building.
- Separate essential personal items and identify belongings that need special discussion.
